I would just like to comment on how impressed and satisfied I am with Lexar's USB flash memory products. Years ago, I purchased Lexar's "Jumpdrive Sport" USB stick for its great design. Not only did Lexar have amazing style in their products, but a variety of them as well. I was continually reminded of the superior design of my Jumpdrive compared to other brands-I work in the IT services profession, and I constantly come into contact with, and use a variety of products. Not only did my Lexar drive have style, but plenty of substance as well. It was practical, not large or cumbersome to handle, it fit well into any computer-a problem many other brands have yet to overcome. Its performance was always as good as or better than any other USB flash drive of its generation. 

Finally, what put it far and above any other USB drive I have ever come across was its durability. The flash drives I own and use take a lot of abuse-knocked against surfaces (like tables, desks, car doors, etc) and on a couple of occasions were left in my pocket while my clothes were put through the washer and dryer. My Lexar drive was as good as new even after the washer/dryer incident, while the SanDisk Cruzer didn't make it. A Kingston flash drive died on me after much less abuse-just the usual dropping/bumping involved in my job. 

When the current 4GB models arrived, I purchased the Lexar FireFly model because of my past experience with Lexar's USB products. Just last week it accidentally found itself in the washer and dryer, and again it survived without an issue. So I'd like to thank Lexar for making a quality product, especially in an age where technology is often made on the cheap.
