Chucke Walkden
Chucke Walkden has been a professional photographer, graphic artist and lab technician for more than 23 years, utilizing his
skills in a variety of industries, most notably motorsports. He has served as the Chief Photographer at Infineon Raceway in
Sonoma, Calif., since 1998, overseeing such premier events as the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series, NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series,
Indy Racing League and more. He has also served as the series photographer for the Pacific Offshore Powerboat Racing Association
(1998-2000), and as a contributor to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca (1997-present). In addition to motorsports, Walkden has demonstrated
his skills in other areas, as a wedding photographer for Bill Meyers Photography (1994-1997) and as a commercial photographer for
Chris Wisner Photography (1995-2001).
Walkden got his start in 1984 as a prepress technician at an offset print house and later in 1987 as a photo composite artist in a full service photo lab.
Walkden started his special effects and photography business, Chucke-Creative Photography, in 1992 and his full service photo and digital lab,
Stellar Imaging, in 1997. He created his own Web-site business, Racephotos.com, in 1996. He has also worked contractually for such companies as
Infineon Technologies, Teledyne, Toyota, Dodge, Custom Chrome, Ghilotti Construction and Fugi, just to name a few.
Walkden has consistently donated his time and art work to charities, such as Make a Wish Foundation and Speedway Children's Charities.
Walkden is currently operating his graphics and fine art printing business from his home in the beautiful redwood mountain community of Boulder Creek in Northern California, where he resides with his lovely wife, Willy.
