David duChemin
David duChemin has been telling stories with his camera for over twenty years. It started with a Voigtlander camera purchased
at a garage sale and just never ended. In his teen years he took a photography class and ,given the chance to trade away his
social life for long hours in the darkroom with smelly chemicals, he took the deal and has never been the same.
David’s passion is telling compelling stories and capturing the players in the human drama. He’s shot in a Russian winter, an
Amazon summer, in Haiti, Europe, and in Ethiopia creating, of all things, a cookbook. David is on staff with the Travel
Photographers Network. When not on the road shooting, David is an internationally-travelled comedian and shoots commercial
jobs so he can feed his digital addiction.
