Outside of commercial assignments, Jay regularly shows his personal work in galleries throughout California and has contributed to various fund raising auctions.

Jay studied photography and art history at UMBC in his hometown of Baltimore, MD and now teaches a digital photography class at The Academy of Art University. He is currently based out of San Francisco, CA and enjoys surfing, skating, riding bikes, and drinking coffee.
