Updating Mac OS 8.6 to USB Mass Storage Compliance
Obtaining the updated driver
- Go to the Apple Software Updates web site (www.apple.com/support)
- Locate the correct driver by searching for USB Mass Storage Support 1.3.5
- Download the required driver to your computer
- Follow the installation instructions found on the Apple web site
Determining if your operating system is USB Mass Storage Compliant
- In Extensions Manager, look for the following Extensions:
- USB Mass Storage Extension 1.3.5
- USB Mass Storage Support 1.3.5
- If these extensions are installed on your computer, then your operating system is USB Mass Storage Compliant
