Mac OS X Compatibility FAQs

Q: How do I use a Kodak Reader if I'm using Mac OS X?
A: You have to boot the computer in Mac OS 9.1 classic environment.  To do this you must choose “Startup Disk” under your System Preferences.

Once you’ve selected the Startup Disk control panel, you’ll have to select Mac OS 9.1 as the system folder to use to start up your computer. Restart your Macintosh  to boot up in Mac OS 9.1.

You can download all of your images in Mac OS 9.  To go back to using Mac OS X, use the System Disk control panel to select Mac OS X as your startup disk.
