have to boot the computer in Mac OS 9.1 classic environment. To do this you must choose “Startup Disk” under your System
Preferences.

Once you’ve selected the Startup Disk control panel, you’ll have to select
Mac OS 9.1 as the system folder to use to start up your computer.
Restart your Macintosh to
boot up in Mac OS 9.1.
You can download all
of your images in Mac OS 9. To
go back to using Mac OS X, use the System Disk control panel to select
Mac OS X as your startup disk.
