Lexar, a global manufacturer of memory and storage solutions, announced that it will exhibit at CP+ 2026 and introduce its latest products in the Japanese market. New Product Lineup at CP+ 2026
At CP+ 2026, Lexar will introduce the following key products:
PLAY X SSD – A new high-speed SSD developed for gaming, content production, and data-intensive applications. Japan will serve as the initial launch market for this model.
SILVER PLUS microSD 2TB – A newly released high-capacity microSD card for 2026, offering advanced performance specifications to support high-resolution video recording and large-volume data storage requirements.
In addition, Lexar will exhibit its professional product lineup, including CFexpress 4.0 Type A/B cards, V60/V90 SD cards, high-speed portable SSDs, and the stainless-steel ARMOR SD cards series designed for enhanced durability.
Business Development in Japan
Lexar has been expanding its retail presence in Japan since 2024. The company’s products are available at major consumer electronics retailers such as
Yodobashi, Bic Camera, and Edion, with distribution in over 100 stores nationwide.
In the professional segment, Lexar works with specialized dealers including
System5 to supply products to broadcasters, production companies, and professional photographers.
The company also maintains collaboration with Japanese leading camera manufacturers to support compatibility verification and product optimization.
In addition, Lexar has strengthened cooperation with authorized domestic distributors to provide Japanese-language customer support and warranty services for eligible products.
AI Storage Core Initiative
With the advancement of AI-enabled devices and high-resolution imaging technologies, storage capacity and data transfer performance requirements continue to increase.
Lexar is promoting its “AI Storage Core” initiative, which focuses on developing storage products that support data-intensive workflows from content capture to editing and management.
